PACE – Print Aid Centre (Poona). Pvt .ltd was incorporated in the year 1982; the actual working of the company commenced from 1993. Taking into consideration the important of the computers, computer-training courses were started by the chairman of the company.

The company got distributor for their Gist Products and also obtained their Accreditation for a training Centres The main mission of the company is to impact knowledge of computers to the common man. In the vested interest of this mission, the chairman came up with an innovation idea of having Training Centres at each Taluka\District places. This idea was put forth to CDAC and which was thoroughly discussed and was accepted as a pilot projects to be implemented in Maharashtra.

The authorization of appointing the Authorized Training Centre (ATC) was given to print Aid Centre (Poona) Pvt. Ltd These ATC’s is called as PACE Bureaus. CDAC and PACE jointly launched this venture in January 1996. The computer training will bear the hallmark of all CDAC products and training schools; quality, care and state-of-the art knowledge and this with first time facility of obtaining computer education in the learner’s mother tongue.

At present there are 480 PACE Bureaus operating in Maharashtra , M.P ,AP, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, After implementing the Program successfully in all these states , Print Aid Centre (Poona) Pvt Ltd. Got recognition from CDAC as its National implementing Agency. This year the Program is extended for Karnataka and Gujrath states. By keeping in mind the important of human potential and CDAC ‘s mission of developing is trying its best to impact computer education at the grass root level PACE will work with prgatee foundation as a Authorised Principal Implementing Organisation for Computer Teacher’s Training Academy Diploma in Computer Education (CTTA D.C.Ed) program.
